How to Lift a Saggy Butt

Improving a saggy butt is possible using one of two methods: exercise or butt augmentation. While many exercises can help improve the shape and firmness of the buttocks, this approach is time consuming and doesn’t always produce the desired results. It also cannot necessarily “lift” the buttocks. Butt augmentation is a proven method that provides a more permanent and prominent lift for the buttocks.

Sagging buttocks may be improved by strengthening the definition the muscles in your backside. Like any other muscle group, this requires targeted muscle sculpting. Here are some sample exercises:

  • Squats: Stand facing forward with your torso straight. Slowly lower your upper body down into a squat while continuing to face forward, then raise yourself back up to a standing position. Begin with body-weight squats and transition to barbell squats when you are able. Do several sets of squats (eight to 12 repetitions each) two or three times weekly.
  • Lunges: From standing, step forward with one leg. Your step should be deep enough that your hips lower until your front knee is at a 90-degree angle, but your back knee remains off the floor. Then slowly return to standing, pushing into your heels to do so. Walking lunges, explosive lunges, and other variations can increase the benefits of this lower body exercise. Do several sets of eight to 12 repetitions each two or three times weekly.
  • Deadlifts: Stand with your feet slightly under a barbell. Bend over and prepare to pick it up without actually doing so and without bending your knees. While bent over, bend your knees and lift your chest to straighten your back. Finally, pick up the barbell and resume your standing position, then slowly lower the bar back to the ground with your knees still bent. Deadlifts engage the buttocks the entire time to stabilize your movement. A good recommendation is several sets (eight to 12 repetitions each) twice weekly.

There are plenty of other butt-shaping exercises that can be found online. Results from exercising to lift your buttocks may be visible in as early as four to six weeks and may improve over time. Typically, many weeks of patience and dedicated effort are necessary to achieve desirable results from exercising to lift a saggy butt.
