Dr. Palladino frequently works with patients who travel from great distances. The following tips will help you plan your trip so that both your travel and surgery experience will go as smoothly as possible.

Hotel Accommodations

Dr. Palladino’s team will provide you with the best accommodations according to your needs. Our patients will be lodged at facilities specifically chosen by Dr. Palladino. We want you to have a magical experience from beginning to end and have put significant effort into ensuring that your safety and comfort are met. Please refer to your coordinator for further information.

Transportation

Our team will arrange for your transport to and from the Airport and to and from Surgery Center. Simply contact us to let us know what accommodations you seek, and we can guide you.

Caretaker

Undergoing major surgery requires having a caretaker, as you will not be able to care for yourself during the early days after your surgery. Please plan to bring a capable caretaker with you. If your surgery recovery time will be 5 days or longer, we require you to have a professionally trained caretaker for at least 48 hours after your surgery. We would be happy to make arrangements for a caretaker for you.

Diet During Recovery

Dr. Palladino firmly advocates a healthy diet as the best way to fuel your body’s recovery. Eating a healthy diet in the days following surgery will significantly influence the speed of your recovery and the quality of your results. The multivitamins and supplements as well as a rich protein diet will help to heal faster. Dr. Palladino’s team will offer options for meals and supplements that will speed up your recovery.

Travel Budget

In addition to the price of your surgery, we recommend budgeting a minimum of $2,500 to cover the expense of flights, hotel accommodations, meals, your caretaker, and any other needs you may have during your stay. As we help you make your accommodations, we will do our best to help you stay within your predetermined budget. Please recognize that the earlier you finalize your plans, the easier it will be to remain under budget.

Time Planning

You should plan to stay in the area for at least several days after your surgery so that your body may sufficiently recover before you travel. The length of your stay depends on the type of surgery you are having:

• Brazilian Butt Lift • 10 days
• Breast Augmentation • 5 days
• Liposuction • 10 days (can vary based on how many areas you are having treated)
• Rhinoplasty • 7 to 10 days
• Tummy Tuck • 10 to 14 days
• Two or more procedures • 14 days (depending on the procedures you undergo)
